Performing Arts
High school students faced significant challenges in staging theater plays during the COVID-19 pandemic. Restrictions on gatherings, social distancing requirements, and intermittent school closures have disrupted rehearsals and performances. Students had to adapt to virtual rehearsals, which limited their ability to connect and collaborate effectively. Despite these obstacles, their creativity and resilience shone through as they explored innovative ways to bring their productions to life, such as streaming performances online or performing in outdoor, socially-distanced settings. These efforts underscored the importance of the arts in maintaining a sense of community and normalcy during unprecedented times.
